Penny Arcade Podcasts
"The Killer Segments"

A couple times a week, Gabe and Tycho of Penny Arcade record the brainstorming session that results in that day's webcombic. When the process leading up to that comic was funny and/or interesting enough, they release the audio as "Downloadable Content," the official name of their podcast series. Downloadable Content is, in my opinion, a real diamond in the midst of this all-too-rough information superhighway that we call home. Unfortunately, many gamers (even those who are fans of PA or Gabe and Tycho's humor in general) are scared off by the 45 minute runtime for an average podcast. That's where this site comes in- my goal is to deliver the best of Downloadable Contest in easy to swallow segmented format, so that people will be able to stream a quick mp3 or video and decide for themselves whether the complete versions of these Penny Arcade Podcasts are going to be worth their time. Hopefully this grand experiment will result in the creation of many new Downloadable Content fans and subscribers... and if not, oh well, these segments are funny enough to stand on their own regardless!
